Sweater Weather

Happy to FINALLY be able to say the boot is gone!!! (still have to wear it to work) but other than that I can finally walk in a regular shoe again! These shoes do have a bit of a heel but I was just so excited I could wear a regular shoe I had to go all out :)

The reason I don't usually wear a watch is because I can rarely find one that is actually comfortable and doesn't slide all over my wrist when I move! Pop of Color

Hi guys! Today i'm showing how to wear a basic "easy" outfit with a little pop of color. Adding an item with color to a simple outfit is a great way to dress up your whole look. Today was super sunny too and got a little hot at times so this top with the open back was perrrrfect. 

My vegan leather bucket bag was my little touch of color!

I added a layered necklace because I personally feel like the outfit gets lost without a necklace while wearing an oversized shirt.

The Vegan Moto

Hey People! Today I am sharing a look from this past weekend which was definitely a dark, denim and a leather jacket kind of weekend. I don't know about you guys but I feel like we went from summer, to about 3 days of fall, then straight to winter. It's only in the 60's and I'm already complaining about how cold it is! Anyways, I love layering an outfit with one of my many vegan leather jackets, this one in particular being my favorite because of the stretchy knit fabric it has on the sleeves and on the collar. 

Broke out these black leather booties from a cute shop in NYC! I love the feminine gold buckles on the side! The first time wearing a new fall bootie is always a good feeling :)

This jacket was one of the FIRST vegan leather jackets i've ever purchased and it is still to this day my favorite one. It's a bit cropped but not too short to wear with something a little over-sized like this semi turtleneck top. 

I paired this outfit with a pair of plain blue jeans that have a tint of acid wash along with a burgundy velvet choker for an edgy look.

Early Turtleneck

Today I'm sharing one of my favorite transitional looks. This loose fitted turtle neck is perfect for this kind of weather- it's chilly and the sleeves give me the perfect amount of coverage but the loose turtleneck and the open back keeps me from being too warm.

I paired this outfit with a tan ankle bootie I purchased over the summer that I am finally able to wear!

I added this free people layered necklace for a little color since this look was so neutral.

90's baby

Today I wore one of my favorite summer dresses as a fall dress! I love this super light weight baby doll dress from Urban Outfitters. Over the summer this was a go-to dress for work because it was long enough and flowy enough that I could run around at work and not worry about it being inappropriate. I hate bra straps showing but definitely needed to wear one with this dress so I wore a suzette bra with no padding that had some lace detail that showed a little bit on the outside! 

  

Luckily I was wearing a pair of spandex shorts underneath because it was definitely windy today! I also wore one of my favorite denim jackets over the dress. Wearing a denim jacket over a light weight printed dress can really make a statement.

First Day of Fall!

So excited it's finally my favorite season!

It wasn't all that cold today but I was so excited it's finally fall I had to dress the part! My classes are FREEZING anyways so I needed the sweater. 

These jeans were a perfect way to dress up an outfit while still being comfortable in them all day. These McGuire jeans are my absolute favorite and wear them so often! I love a good high rise jean and the front detailed pockets give these jeans such a nice touch. 

I haven't been able to wear heels for a while, but this western bootie with a chunky heel was the move today. I got them somewhere in San Fran a few years ago and continue to wear them every fall.
